Early Education Culture Shock??

As a Creative Curriculum user I am learning some of the pros and cons of being a curriculum user. One of the biggest cons from my perspective is the potential to throw children into culture shock upon entering elementary school, simply because, elementary education typically does not mirror the Creative Curriculum environment. Creative supports exploration and discovery of a child's self-interest, i.e., more child-initiative activities, vs. teacher-directed activities which dominate the elementary environment. The best use of the curriculum is to find the appropriate marriage between the two environments, to make for an easier transition to elementary school.
